Of the world’s 7,000 languages, more or less 100 have artificial intelligence technologies at various levels. For many reasons, the Kurdish language is not equipped with artificial intelligence technologies on a large scale. In order to provide universal language technologies for all dialects of the Kurdish language, we announce the establishment of a new platform for the development of language technologies called Artificial Intelligence. The aim of this platform is to further develop Kurdish language technologies.

For this purpose, as the first batch of our projects, we will provide three basic services to citizens, namely:

Audio translation

For the first time in the history of Kurdish language, we have developed the technology of direct translation of Kurdish audio into English and make it available to citizens. The user can speak Kurdish and view his speech in English text in a provided editor and save the translated text as a Word file.

Direct typing

In order to make speech recognition systems easier and faster, direct typing services are offered as a second product from this new platform. Through direct typing, the user can continuously speak, revise their texts in the provided editor, and save their entries in Word format.

File type

The third service made available to users in the first phase is file typing. Through this service, users can send audio or video files in different formats and receive the text directly.
Language data and resources

It is worth mentioning that apart from products and services, this new platform aims to strengthen the foundations of the Kurdish language in the field of technology and for this purpose in a number of fundamental projects.
