Adaleh Khalifi is a writer and literary critic specializing in children’s and young adult literature. She is active in writing, research, and literary criticism, with numerous published works in the field of children’s storytelling. She is also recognized as a pioneering author in the genre of graphic novels in Iran. Her notable works include the children’s novel “Qolooli”, the picture book “The Clever Fisherman”, and the adult novel “Here the Wolves Howl Louder”. Khalifi has received several awards, including the Gold Medal for Outstanding Literary Research for her work in semiotics and the Second Prize at the Children’s Literature Thesis Festival. She has presented papers at national academic conferences on topics such as children’s literature, semiotics in picture books, and the role of metaphor and symbolism in storytelling. Khalifi is also active in promoting literacy and creative literary education.
